The Egyptian troopH ejected the Dervishes from Shebaliya Island, kilting thirty. Mali mud's advance party has arrived within five mileß of the Atbara River, and six squadrons of Egyptian cavalry have left Kunar in order to get in touch with the enemy. The railway line has now been completed for a distance of seventy -three miles south of Abu Hamed, and the river Atbara has been made navigable as far as Shendy.
