WESLEYAN CONFERENCE.

[Pee Press Association.] DUNEDIN, March 4. At the Wesleyan Conference G. Howell, D. A. N. Scotter and M. H. Gilmour were accepted as candidates for the ministry. It was reported that the Queensland Conference had accepts the Rev L. Hudson as a substitute for the Rev J. A. Luxford. The General Secretary, the superintendents of the Christchurch (Durham Street), Sydenham and St Albans circuits, with Messrs Harris, England, G. H. Blackwell and G. Borrow were appointed a Church Building and Loan Fund Committee. The General Secretary and Mr W. Harris were elected treasurers for the year. Thanks were given to the Revs H. R. Dewsbury and J. Buddie, and they were reappointed treasurers of the Superannuation Fund. In the evening the members attended a Sunday School demonstration in the Agricultural Hall.
