In April, 1595, . a gum-digger named Frank O'Donnell, a single man, was reported missinjj from Lucas Creek gumfields. - The bones of a man have been found in a creek near O'Donnell's whare with a bullet-hole in the skull;- A revolver was found, one of the chambers unloaded, I arid at the inquest a verdict of suicide while temporarily insane was returned. !
