On the part o£ his managers, through an oversight, 3VIr Bolleston had no scrutineers at the Kiccartoii booths at the recent election. It is reported that at some of the booths persons were allowed to act as scrutineers without the deputies having «ny authority to allow them to act, other than their own assurance that they had been appointed.
