THE HAMBURG- DOCKERS. [Per Press Association.] HAMBURG, Dec. 4. The strikers have asked the Central Committee to proclaim a general strike. LONDON, Dec. 4. The Times refers to the dispute as a combined social and democratic onslaught on capital. SYDNEY, Dec. 5. The Council of the Labour Federation has cabled a message of sympathy to the Hamburg strikers, and hoping that the strike will have a successful result. In the event of the strike being protracted it is intended to hold meetings in Sydney to raise fluids for the assistance of the men.
