The monthly meeting of this Board was held on Monday; present — Messrs W. J. Atkinson, W. F. Conway, J. Jack,T.Taliott and E. Thompson. The Eeturmng-officer reported the election of Messrs T. Tallott and W. F. Conway as members of the Board. Mr W. J. Atkinson was elected chairman for the ensuing year. Correspondence was received— From Mr C. M. Brooke, enclosing price list of poisoned wheat. It was decided to order, twelve bushels. From a oontractor, asking for extra allowance on his contract. The Board could not comply with his request. It was decided that tenders should be called for Reserve No. 1024, to be in by next Board day ; also for cleaning out the drain on Ashley Eoad, opposite Mr E. . King's, and for breaking stones on the main road. It was agreed to have the Abseley Eoad repaired by tender. A letter of sympathy was ordered to be sent to Mrs Catherwood on the death of her husband, who had been Chairman of the Board. Tenders were accepted for various works.
