PRESIDENT'S CUP.

Midland No. 1 v. Warwick House.— This match was commenced at Hagley Park, and the Midland team remained at the wickets the whole afternoon, Scores :— Midland 312 (Barge 75, Manson 52, Barry 43, T. A. Ryan 33, A. Reese 31, Munford 21, Ashby 17 and Barnes 16). Whittle and Brown were the most successful bowlers for the school. The Midland batted one man short. United No. 1 v. High School No. 2. — This match was begun at Hagley Park. The former had by far the. better of the ■ day's play. Scores :— High School 45 (P. Byrne 12 not out and Robertson 11); United 259 for five wickets (C. Wood 88 not out, Lambie 57 not out, A. C. Rolleston 48, Tapper 43 and Day 11). Rolleston and Lambie\ bowled well for the United, and W. Byrne and Russell were the most successful for the School. / Lancaster Park B v. College No. 2. —Scores :— -Park 149 (Weir 66, Sanderson 40, Johnstone 16 not out) ; College 85 (Studholme 19, Bannister 16, Overton 13 not out, DonMn 10). Bromley, Manning and Mason bowled well for the Park, and Moore and Lake for the College. United No. 2 v. St Albans.— This match was commenced on Saturday, St Albans having" much the better of the game. Scores:— Sfc Albans 187, United 47 for seven wicketa. . College No. 1 v. Sydenham. — Sydenham scored 56, and College 183 for five wickets.
