Mr Olney, Secretary of State, has pointedly advised the Venezuelan Grovernraent to resume relations with Great Britain for reparation over the disagreeable occurrence which took place in January, 1895, when the Venezuelans arrested police at a small post situated near the confluence of the rivers Cayuni and Turuari in the colony of British Ghiiana and close to the boundary.
