[Special to Peess Association.] LONDON, Feb. 8. The English wheat market is steady, the Continental advancing, and the American in active. At yesterday's sales 1325 casks of tallow were offered, of which 400 were sold. Medium mutton brought 24s 6d, medium beef 20s. Hides, heavy ox, 3£d $ cow, 3§d. Leather, best heavy, 9£d. The imports of the United Kingdom for last month show an increase in value of ,£1,730,000, and the exports an increase of .£2,903,000.
