Midland No. 1 v. Midland No. 2. — This contest was terminated on Satiu-day at Hagley Park, when the No. 1 team won. easily by 106 runs. Scores : — No. 1 team, 178 and 89 (Barge 34, Ashby 23 and Eobertson 14); No. 2 team, 129 and 32. Barry and Robertson bowled well for the winners, who batted three men short in their second innings.
