Midland v. Sydenham and Addington United. — This match was brought to a conclusion at Hagley Park on Saturday, when the Midland Avon by 56 runs. Scores :— Midland 71 and 68 (Garrard 13) ; Sydenham 54 and 29 (Wright 10). Barry and Stephenson bowled well for the winners, and Wright and Stephens for the losers. Boys' High School v. St Albans. — The contest between these teams was brought to a conclusion at Hagley Park on Saturday last, when the school gained an unexpected win by 32 runs. Scores: — High School 155 and 125 (Sims 72 not out, Williams 13 and Ryan 12) ; St Albans 170 (C. Colville 47, J. Smith 46 not out, A. Smith 21 and W. Forsyth 14) and 78 (C. Colville 20, J. Smith 18 and J. Colville 14). Sims and Manson bowled well for the winners, and-Eitchie and J. Colvillo for the losers. The High School batted three men short in their second innings, and St Albans two men short. Lancaster Park v. United. — Principally owing to good bowling by Smith for the Lancastrians, his team was returned winners of the contest by an innings and 71 runs. ,
