The Albion C.C. defeated the Linwood C.C. by 17 rona on the first innings in a one. day's match.' , A match was played on Saturday between the United Cricket Club Reserve and New Brighton, resulting in a win for the United by 9 runs. Scores— United 41 (Wynn-Williams 11, Bowring 9), New Brighton 32 (Eollit 17) . Wood and Martin bowled excellently for United. Imperial First beat Avonßide First by an innings and 81 rune. C. Hale 53 not oat batted best for the winners, as did Griffin and Woledge for Avonside. A match was played on Thursday ■ between teams representing the Hairdressers and New Brighton Clubs, and resulted in a win for the Hairdressers by two runs on the first innings. Scores: — Hairdressers, first innings 49 (G. Deal 19), second innings 78 (Mitohell 28) ; New Brighton first innings 47 (Preece 19). second innings 30 for three wickets (Prebble 17 not out). Mitchell and Cusack for the Hairdressers, and Prebble and Cain for New Brighton were the most successful trundlers. :
