N Battery Artillery.— At a meeting held on Monday last it was deoided to hold the annual "social" on August 30. Departing from the custom to hold the usual winter smoke concert, it has been decided to tender a complimentary entertainment to the friends of the members in the Oddfellows Hall on Friday next, in the form of a limelight exhibition, principally of vie « a 2 , V lO S reat Naval Exhibition recently held in London. The descriptive readings will be by the battery chaflain, the Bey E. Elliott Chambere.
