Johnson, Waituna, which was badly burned on Tuesday, through its clothing catching fire ia some unknown manner, died last night. Yesterday morning a man named J. Smith had his left hand badly scorched and the little finger blown off through a gun explodiag in hi3 tent at Cheviot. Smith was brought down to the Christchurch Hospital,, where he arrived in the evening.
