THE QUEENSLAND FLOODS.
[Special to Fbbbs Association.] t BRISBANE, Feb. 27. An official cable to London announces that the damage caused by the floods amounts to one million sterling. [Per Pbbss Association! DUNEDIN, Feb. 26. A oanvaßß of the city for the Queensland Belief Fund has now commenced. With- , out counting anything received in this way, .£282 19s 3d has been received by the Hon Secretary. WESTPORT, Feb. 27. To-day the Mayor cabled £100 to the Premier of Queensland for the relief of the sufferers by the floods. Probably -£50 more will be raised.
