[Pee Pkesß Association.] WELLINGTON, Sbpt. 25. The following are the vital statistics for AugUßt :—
The deaths of persons not residents of the Boroughs, oconrnng at Hospitals, hare been excluded in oil cases. The total births in the above Boroughs amounted to 41? against 472 in July, a deorease of 55. The deaths in August were 169, an decrease of one on the number in July. Of the total deaths, males contributed 85, females 84; 40 of the deaths were of children nnder five years of age, being 2367 per oent of the whole number ; 27 of these were under one year of age.
