MrC. E. Salter defended the accused.
Sergeant O'Malley said he was not prepared to go on with the case, and asked for a remand until April 30. Mr Salter did not object, and the three accused were accordingly remanded, bail to be given each in one Burety in the Bum of £10.
The case will be brought under Sections 51 and 52 of the " Malicious Injuries Act, 1867," which provides that any one found guilty of maliciously damaging property to the extent of over £5 shall be committed for trial, and liable to a term of imprisonment ranging from two to ten years.
