St Albans.

A fair amount of interest appeara to be taken in the election of three members to theSt Albans Borough Council, and atthree o'clock this afternoon about one hundred and fifty votes had been recorded. Tiie several candidates assembled at the polling place, the Borough Council offices, and there discussed the aspects of the fight, and I exchanged a quantity of good-humoured j chaff. The general opinion seemed to be i that at least two of the old members would i be returned again, and that a tough. | struggle would take place between three ! othtr of the candidates for the remaining seat.
