CUST.

The annual meeting of parishioners was held on Monday. There was a very good attendance, the curate in the chair. Mr E. W. Cooper, parishioners' warden, presented the balance-sheet. The total receipts had been .£133, and the expenditure reached the same amount. Mr Dickinson moved — " That in the opinion of this meeting it would be to the advantage of the church in Cust and West Eyreton that the present curate should reaign." The motion was negatived by all except the mover and seconder. The Chairman nominated Mr Walter Chapman to act as his Churchwarden again, and Mr ! E. W. Cooper was re-elected parishioners' churchwarden. The following were elected vestrymen : — Messrs Tipping. Kingsbury, | Turner, Blunden, Cottle, Cook, H. J. Horrell, S. Horrell. Votes of thanks were accorded to the ladies who acted as organists (Miss Biggins and Miss Roberts), to the Sunday school teachers, the choir, &c.
