ALL SAINTS', SUMNER.
The annual meeting took place on Monday evening. The incumbent, the Rev C. J. Merton stated that the attend* ances at church, usually very good, were slightly in excess of former years, and. the offertories were a few pounds better. For the success of the Sunday school the-, credit "was due to Mrs Salter and her assistants. The ladies of the Sewing Guild had presented a valuable harmonium. Mr Wiggins had been most indefatigable as choirmaster. The statement of accounts showed a credit balance of £15 4s lOd. The incumbent nominated Mr J. A. Graham, and the parishioners reelected Mr H. Hanmer. The following were elected aa vestrymen: —Messrs C. L. Wiggins, J. S. Monck, J. D. Watson, W. Mills, J. Crawford, J. Day, S. H. Smith, IW. Kitson, and J. Glennie. An offer of £& from the Sewing Guild, towards the purchase oE lamps for the church, was accepted. The meeting terminated with a vote of thanks to the incumbent.
