FATAL- ACCIDENTS.

WANGANUI, Dec. 19. A storeman named William T. Eddie was drowned in the Wangauui river this afternoon. He had gone into the water to bathe, and is supposed to have been seized by cramp. Doccased has been for many years in the employ of Messrs Drummond and Alexander, general merchants here, and was much respected. He leaves a wife and five children.

MASTERTON, Dec. 19. Charle3 Osborne was killed yesterday at Mungapakeha. He fell off the shaft of a loaded dray, and a wheel passed over his body. He leaves a v/if e and three children.
