Methodist Union.
The doting session of the Committee was held in tho Durham Btreefc church yesterday morning, Mr Flesher presiding. A circular letter to the Ministers and members of the churches represented, was read by Mx White and approved. It was agreed that as the meetings for devotion, and the regulations for conducting public worship were the same in all the churches, tbey should bo maintained. A resolution was adopted expressing the opinion of the Committee as to the growing importance of Sunday sohoole, and drawing the attention of tho Conference thereto, so as to encourage the teachers in their work as muck as possible. The work of tho Stationing Committee was defined. The Chairman, with Messrs Daweon, Harri»,Beed, and Bavin, bore testimray to (ho interest with whioh the Methodists of Ohristehuroh had watohed the Committee's work, and their earnest wishes for its success. A vote of thanks to the trustees of Durham street for the me of the vestry and the facilities afforded for the meetiag was cordially adopted. A similar compliment was paid to the Secretaries. The minutes having been read and confirmed, the meeting was ended with praise and prayer.
