Incorporation of Industrial Associations.
The following very satisfactory letter has been reoeived by Mr A. G. Howland from Mr J. Evans Brown, M.H.8., with whom, in conjunction with Messrs Holmeß and Wilson, the Industrial Aeiooiation communicated on the subject of obtaining the passing of a voasure for the incorporation of such Asiociations :— * « Wellington, July 16, 1883. " Dear Bir, — With reference to the requirement of the Christohurch Industrial Association, I have the promise of tho Premier, Hon F. Whitaker, that he will introduce this week into the Legislative Council a Bill having for its objeot the incorporation of suoh Associations in the same manner as Agricultural Societies. He would have attended to the matter sooner, but other pressing engagements did not permit. Ido not anticipate any opposition to the measure. —I remaiD, &c, " J. Evaks Bbowk."
