Captain Murdoch was examined at length, but he was unable to account in any way for the foundering of the vessel. The divers have continued their examination of the ship, but they have not recovered any more bodies, and the fate of the Lascar firemen who, it is believed, were drowned, is still unknown. The Marine Board of Enquiry into the circumstances under which the immigrant ship Northampton struck on a reef at Port Hacking on Oct. 21, was concluded to-day.
