TE AWAMUTU.

A large crowd rolled up on the evening of the 2ath to the concert in aid of the Hall funds and none went away disappointed. Some of the tableaux were alone worth going to see and reflect great credit on those ladies who carried them out so successfully. The songs in character by MiBS Bowden and Miss North were loudly applauded. One of the gems of the evening was the duet 'Oh Mayst Thou Dream of Me,' by Miss Allen and Miss Bowden, ' Auld JRobin Grey ' with, tableau was also very effective, the parts taken by Miss Bell and Miss Bockett, and Messrs Cruickhank, Dawson and Gresbam. Mr E. Aubie sang ' The Boys in Piok.' After the concert refreshments were handed round, and a very jolly dance concluded the Queen's Birthday.
