What made N.H. anxious at the dance on Tuesday ? Was it on account of her dear boy? Not fair of you, B. You must not hide again. SD. could tell you a little about it, N.. .What made J.M. put so much side on with 8.L., the other night ? Is it because she can't get anyone else to mash with?.. How nice A.S. and M.S. looked with long W. They say that they don't like theJPdlmerston boys.

..J.D. and B.L. are very attentive to a certain young lady. No go there while the railway boy is about. He is first favourite there. All others are simply outsiders. . . M.D. looked rsally interesting with the advance agent the other night. M. says she admires dark ones. Since the fair one was false to her, poor little dear... A.L., the fascinating youag man, seems to be really firßt favuurite with the girls. I Bay, A., old boy, why don't you give someone else a chance and not have four of them at a time?.. The four D.'s and N.H. are very persistent in their emulation of each other at the dances. The boys fancy dark-eyed d. with the little sister for a boil over. . .
