NORMANBY.
The elite rolled up in force at the concert, but hardly any of the iower crust were present. Toe elite were delighted, but the ' common people ' aaid it was ' too classical. '..What does W.P. go to G. so often for? He says he goes to have a tune on the piano, but rumour says he ia after M...Some of the Normanby residents are quite delighted with ' Phiz's ' character-reading... J.H. thinks he has a show with M.G... Quite noticeable -the Normanby girls at the mail train on Tuesday and Friday nights. . .C.L. and Miss H. are going to run in double harness shortly. ..H.S. and Miss W. are in the same boat... lt is said Miss D. would have C P. if he asked her.. .We don't see Miss L. in town so much since A.T. left Normanby. Why don't you try his tuccessor, L. ?
