TURUA.
J.F. must be a bit of a reporter judging from the way he was usiDg the pencil at the Mutual the other night.. .L.W. says if presumption was consumption some of the mill chaps would not live long. ..The young lady not a thousand miles from the Asylum says if A.B. does not soon propose she will leave Turua disgusted with the male fraternity. .. Too bad of the Paeroa footballers to disappoint our boys, and especially as the girls were going. Never mind, better luck next time. . .N.B. says Turua has no charm for. her since the departure of a certain young man...J.F. says it is too bad ; he gets all the blame for being the O.M. Never mind J., old man, I have come to your assistance, but don't lend your 0. so much and then people won't suspect you.. . W.M. says he will pull anything on th 6 river in the skiff old P. brought him up...J.E. has left us, and there is one fair one bemoaning her 1055.. . J.H. says he is going to attend the Kiri-Kin dances. Look out, J. , I fancy someone else has a say in the matter. . .
T.W. was doing things in style at the last dance. Quite monopolising the young ladies, in fact.
