What has our only masher been in town for so long ? Oh, J., is it to seek consola tion thro' Hannafprd's, dear boy?.. What price soft soap now J. since the band craze started ?..M. says J.W. is only jealous because he cannot get invited into a certain back-parlour.. .The fop quite startled the young ladies when he sang out ' pretty Pollie,' and they are glad he has gone . away.. . W.E. and F.S. should not walk so. far apart when they walk out. They look so shy.. . J.T. seems to take a great interest in A.R.s back yard ; what is the attraction J.?.. Great weeping and wailing among our local Johnnies since our only A. has gone for a three months stay in Auckland.
