PORT ALBERT.
A number of the young folk from this district visited the Wellsford 8.0. H. on Saturday evening last, and contributed items to the programme which were duly acknowledged... A concert, tableaux, songs, farce, etc., came off at Port Albert hall on 28th by the leading talent of Topuni and Wellsford. Entertainment a decided succesß. After the concert the floor was cleared for dancing... We are glad to learn that the new cook at the mill possesses local ability, and it is to be hoped he will help us at our meetings as songsters are in demand, especially at the Mutual Imps. ..A. has been promoted at the mill, -and is getting a wiser and better man every day.. .What attraction is there in Port Albert for the Wellsford dude ; surely 'tie not a young lady ? for there are lots in Wellsford without coming all the way over here to deprive the local maßhers of the remaining few ?
