ARATAPU.

— The Aratapu Cricket Club commenced their first practice for the season on last Saturday afternoon. The rival T. C. C. boys, on the sawdust, pitched wickets with a team of five youths, including the fascinating captain. G-eorgey returned about 4 p.m., quite disgusted with cricket. We believe the T. C. C. will require another captain ere many weeks have passed. The late dancing class members state that they have no particular desire to see-more of that generous individual who entertained himself so well on biscuits and coffee at their last " kick," and departed quiet imconcious of the fact that he had forgotten to pay the usual admission fee of eighteen pence.
