SCHOOL IN THE NORTH. TO BE RE-OPENED. CASES OF MILD NATURE. [By Telegraph.—Press Association] KAIKOHE, March 25. As a consequence of the decision of the Kuikohe School Committee to close the Kaikohe District lligli School owing to the measles epidemic, Dr. C. B. Gilberd, medical officer for North Auckland, visited Kaikohe yesterday, and after an inspection reversed the decision of the committee. Dr. Gilberd said there was no justification at present for closing the school. All the cases in the immediate district were of a mild nature. There were 85 children absent from school yesterday out of the total roll number of about 200.
