FIRST-AID WORK.

QUESTION OF RECOGNITION. ST. JOHN AMBULANCE VIEW. SUPPORT PROM SPORTS BODIES. That the support accorded the Brigade from sports bodies in Thames was hardly satisfactory was the opinion expressed at last night's annual meeting of the Thames St. John Am bulance Association by the Brigade superintendent, Mr. P. J. Hosking. "Individually, tho members of tho Brigade receive absolutely nothing for their serviees, nor do they expect any reward," said the superintendent, "yet time and again people say: 'You fellows got well paid for your work!' " Brief discussion took place on the subject, and it was agreed that it be a recommendation to the incoming committee, that sports bodies be approached on the question.
