IMPROVED RAIL FACILITIES. MINISTER TO MAKK VISIT. ["By Telegraph. —Press Association I NEW PLYMOUTH, Dec -'3. Extensive improvements to the facilities at the New Plymouth railway station to meet the demands of the growing traffic arc proposed, particularly In regard to goods shed accommodation and siHings. A final decision on the plans will not be made until the Minister for Railways, Mr. D. G. Sullivan, visits New Plymouth early in the new year, but it is expected that a substantial sum will be expended. The Minister's visit has been delayed by the discussions with the Australian trade delegation.
