THE LONDON MARKETS. IMPROVEMENT IN PRICES. (Special to “Star.”) AUCKLAND, Feb. 1. The London market for New Zealand butter is quiet, but there has be (ill a rise of 3/(5 over the week. New Zealand is quoted at 95/- per cwt. and Danish at 115/-. The cheese market is steady, but some reports indicate inactivity among buyers. White is quoted at 53/- per cwt., coloured from 57/- to 58/-, increases of 1/- and 2/G respectively over the week.
