MR. McSKIMMING'S DECISION

Announcing his intention not to seek re-election for Clutha at the general election, Mr. P. MeSkimming candidly admitted, in a statement to the "Clutha Leader," that he had had a taste of political life, and that it was not congenial to him. Selected as the Labour candidate, the Rev. E. T. Cox, Mayor of Dunedin, is at present the only nominee for the constituency.'
