GOLCONDA REPORT. DRIVING CONTINUES. The manager of the Golconda mine reports: — "During the week we continued driving on the ribs of quartz in the footwall of the main reef, and nice colours of gold have been seen. A small break came across the face and displaced the quartz and wo have not so far picked up the quartz. We are continuing driving on the footwall of the main reef, which is showing zinc blend and minerals, and should pick up the footwall ribs at any time. The country rock is of a favourable description."
