Nurse D. Moore, of the Thames Hospital, has passed the State maternity examination with honours. The Mayor (Mr S. Ensor) and Cr S. Ci. Muir left by car this niorniir; for Wellington to interview the authorities on Borough business. The Town Clerk, Mr A. Chapman, war, to have accompanied the deputation, but hs been suddenly taken ill and is confined to his bed.
