Extra choice ox sold to 24s per 1001 b; choice and prime, 21s to 23is; secondary and plain, 17s to 20s; prime young cow and heifer beef, 20s to 235; secondary, 14s to 19s; extra heavy prime steers ranged in price from £lO to £lO 17s 6d; heavy, £9 to £9 17s 6d; lighter, £7 5s to £8 15s; light, £6 to £7 2s 6d; small and unfinished, £4 10s to £5 15s; extra heavy prime young cows and heifers, £7 to £7 12s 6d; heavy, £6 to £6 15s; lighter, £5 2s 6d to £5 16s 6d; light, £4 to £5; others, 50s to 755. * Buckland and Sons, Ltd., penned 335 head (196 steers and 139 cows and heifers) compared with 360 last Wednesday. Extra heavies made £lO 10s to £ll ss.
