—— *■ WELL-KNOWN SPORTSMAN. MR. H. C. COTTON, OF TE AROHA. ANXIETY OF FRIENDS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) TE AROHA, July 15 On Thursday, July 2, Mr H. C Cotton, secretary of the Te Aroha Jockey Club, Trotting Club, Building Society and Agricultural and Pastoral Association, left on a brief holiday to attend the Taumarunui race meeting. Some apprehension is now felt at his absence, as these institutions have not been apprised of the date of his return, and it is feared that he may have been taken ill suddenly or met with an accident.
