LICENCES BY CONFERENCE. SEVERAL APPLICATIONS REFUSED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.. WELLINGTON, July 15 The Licensing Committee of the New Zealand Racing Conference met yesterday, when the following were refused permission to work in stables:—J. Derry (Hastings), L. J. Woolford (Dunedin), and C. G. Goulsbro (Taranaki) for the balance of the current season. H. J. Tinker's jockey's licence was granted on condition that he be employed in the stables of his brother at To Rapa. The application of C. J. Thomson (Auckland) was also granted conditional on his finding permanent employment. The following licenses were suspended for one month, from July 14; W. T. Green (jockey) and C. J. Robinson (trainer).
