IRISH LOYALISTS.
DEBATE IN THE LORDS. (A. and N.Z. Cable.) LONDON, July 24. In the House of Lords, Lord Middleton, on behalf of the Irish loyalists, initiated a debate, when a number of peers attacked the Irsili policy of the late Government. Lord Birkenhead vigorously defended it. The Duke of Devonshire promised that the Government would look after the interests of the Irish loyalists.
