DOCTOR BEATEN TO DEATH. (A. and N.Z. Cable.) BERLIN, July 25. As the outcome of a fierce street demonstration at Frankfurt between Socialists and Communists Dr. Haas, the State attorney, was brutally murdered. The mob, when passing his home, dragged Dr. Haas through the street, where he was, kicked and beaten to death. The mob ransacked the bouse of Haas’ father, who was badly maltreated. The crowd carried banners inscribed: “To the gallows with exploiters,” “No justice without blood.” They also visited a popular pleasure resort and turned out the public. The police repelled attempts to break into restaurants and hotels.
