A man named Wright, a, guard on the ;ballast train, was cut' to pieces apparanitly whilei putting, on.', the brakes about a. mile beyond Waihok> on the Oirepuki-Waiiau line. He was a single miam recently off the Main Trunk line and had relatives in Auckland.
