THAMES HOSPITAL.

To the Editor of the Evjonxfit Stab.

Sib, —The person who writes in the Thames Advertiser this morning under the norn de plume of "XXX " mutt be afflicted with a rabid attack of cacoethes scribendi. There is neither sense nor decency in it, and therefore, if we are to take that as a sample of his pretensions to literary ability, "XXX" should not appear in print at all. He commences with speaking of the Hospital as a sacred institution, and concludes by attempting to ridicule it in a melancholy joke. I think such remarks as are contained in the letter referred to are not only extremely foolish, but ill advised. Tact.
