ANSWER TO "A COMMON MAN."
(To the Editor of the Evening Star.)
Sir,—To the question asked by your correspondent "A Common Man," in last evening's issue of your paper, viz, whether it be not true that Mr. Tyler appears at the Hospital meetings under a retaining fee from myself, permit me to reply most emphatically in the negative. ; Mr. Tyler does not appear professionally for me at the deliberations of the Committee, nor have I authorised him either directly or indirectly to do so. Chabxes F. Lethbbidgb.
