Damage At Domain It has been reported to the Domain Board that the horizontal ladder at the children’s playground at the Domain, has been taken down and all of the hardwood rungs removed, and a shelter fence damaged. Complaints have also been received that boys with a dog have been rounding up sheep grazing on Domain land. Rifle Shooting W. H. A procession of returned soldiers, Boy Scouts, Girl Guides and school children, headed by the Mackenzie Highland Pipe Band, marched from the De Luxe Theatre to the Monument where a number of wreaths were deposited. A return was made to the Theatre, where a service was held. Mr A. Barwood, president of the Fairlie Sub-branch of the R.S.A. presided. After a slow march played by the Pipe Band, and a prayer by the Rev. Mr Gowenlock, Mr D. Jeune delivered an address. The Rev. J. N. Reid read the lesson, after which Mr M. Barnett, representing the Cave Services Committee, spoke. The pronouncing of the Benediction by the Rev. Mr Gowenlock concluded an impressive service.
