WORRY OVER MONEY

Man Commits Suicide * (Rec. 7.39 p.m.) BRISBANE, Jan. 30. Evidence that Lionel Coningham. aged 43, shot himself as t,he result of worry over the proposed Government control of banking was given at the inquest here. It was stated that Coningham had a substantial amount of money’ in the bank and received regular remittances from England. Since the proposed banking control legislation had been talked about, Coningham had been perturbed, believing that he would lose his money. Coningham was the beneficiary of a large estate in England. He had been located a few years ago by a missing friends’ agency. Before that he was on Government, relief.
