BRIDE FOR A WEEK

A week after marriage MTs Joyce Dorothy Hamilton, aged 27, of Earl’s Court, London, committed suicide by throwing herself in front of a train at Baker Street station. It was revealed at the inquest that she had no financial or other troubles, but feared air raids very much. The. husband said he thought it possible his wife was on her way to her people, who lived in the country, where they had no sirens.
