TENNIS CLUB At the annual meeting of the Cave Tennis Club, Mr Hart presided. A vote of thanks was passed to the president for his work in the interests of the club. Mr B. H. Howell presented cups to be played for during the season, and Mrs Howell also offered a cup for competition. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr T. D. Burnett, M.P.; president, Mr T. B. Hart; vice-presidents: Mrs G. Mathias, Messrs A. E. Kerr, B. H. Howell, A. E. Gillingham and G. G. Rich; club captain, Miss M. Scott; secretary and treasurer, Mrs Cameron; committee: Mesdames T. B. Hart, J. Little, A. S. McPherson, H. McMaster, O. Jones and Miss Amyes. The opening day of the club was held last Saturday, at which there was a large gathering of members and visitors. The courts are in excellent order.
